About Me

Journalist, writer, CEO, speaker, author – I’ve been all of those. I’ve won awards as ‘Writer of the Year’ and also ‘Trainer and Mentor of the Year’. And for the early years I thought the most exciting and interesting things in life were motorbikes, cars and fast powerboats. Then I realised the most exciting things are people. Oh, and trees.

Over the decades I’ve interviewed a wide range of people, from hotelier Sir Rocco Forte to ex-F1 team boss Ross Brawn; from Stefano Casiraghi (who was then the husband of Princess Caroline of Monaco), to Carla Diana, the Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur.

I’ve also rough-travelled to over 50 countries and lived with subsistence fishermen in Malawi, camel farmers in Australia and some railway maintenance men in the Sahara Desert. Everyone has their story. Oh and so do the trees.
